Aunt Mary was nice enough to plan a little get-together at her house and invited pretty much all of my family in the area. She cooked all the yummy food and Steve set up all the seating area outside. Since we weren't sure what the weather was going to be like, he put up some gazebos in case it did rain. Luckily, we were able to eat, drink and be merry without getting soggy since it didn't rain until right at the end of it all. In fact, it was probably the nicest weather we had during the whole of the trip. I informed everyone there that they HAD to have their photos taken because I was working on our family tree. I won't bore you with all the individual photos, but here's a group shot

before lunch was served.
The list of everyone in attendance (to assist my memory later!) includes
- our hosts, Aunt Mary and Uncle Steve
- my grandmother, Helen
- Uncle Terry and Aunt Laura
- their son/my cousin Tim
- Aunt Ann and Uncle John
- my Great-Uncle Paul and Great-Aunt Bonnie
- Great-Aunts Arlene, Teresa and Charlotte aka "Shushie"
- my dad's cousins Debbie B., Gloria aka "Go-Go", Debbie P. (and her daughter, Becky), Jeanie and her husband, Alan (and their two grandsons and their two dogs), Ron and his wife, Jeannette
- Joshua and me
Being an only child coupled with the fact that I was a military brat and we never really lived near any of my extended family, I've always felt like I came from such a small family. It was good to see so many relatives! I sometimes forget how many people I'm attached to biologically!
