Quickie!

I really just wanted to post this picture:

before it's all over Facebook.

Important things to know when looking at it:
  • Lee and Leslie had a BEAUTIFUL wedding Mass...emotionally, spiritually, visually.
  • The people in (the forefront) of this photo are some of my favorite people...not just from college, but life, in general.
  • I love the fact that the people in the background don't really know what's going on, or care.
  • I had to be lifted out of those splits afterward.
  • I had to be lifted out of those splits afterward...because I had undergone surgery the week before.
  • I had kinda forgotten that last fact until the moment I was sliding down into position.
******UPDATE*******
This picture was recently featured as the Texas Tech Athletic Department's Fan of the Day Pic on their Facebook page!

We return you now to your previous broadcast...

I love it! Obviously, the best part is that you're doing the splits. The second best part is trying to figure out what the people in the background are saying.... so far, I think I've determined the one saying "Yes! Do the splits!" and the one screaming in slow motion - "Wait - you just sur...ger...y... wow."

Epic pic! I love it! I hope you frame it and hang it somewhere in your house.

Surgery? What the what? I hope it was nothing major and that you are doing well....especially after the post-surgery splits.

Does this really matter? Who reads this anyway? Seriously. Okay, fine. I'm probably the only Poli-pino you'll ever meet and I: like to cook up a good meal (but if given the choice I'd rather eat out); watch TV and films from here and there; love to laugh and try to do it often; hate to cry but end up doing so...and often; believe we ALL make a difference to SOMEONE at SOME POINT; love long walks on the beach, it's cheesy, I know, but I do love them especially with my family; wish I was as erudite as Stephen Fry, as cleverly comedic as (too many to name here) and as oblivious as Mr. Bean. Obviously I could go on...that's why I started the blog!
