Deep and wide! - Day 1

So, I thought SOME of you might enjoy watching the progression of our pool building.

Day 1: A beautiful day to layout the design of the pool, don't you think? So the guys got right to it and measured where the reference point stakes should stand.

Just a few more to place and then they'll have what they need to make the partial circle circumferences that form the design.

Kids, this is where your geometry knowledge comes into play!

You can see the outline of where the hot tub is going to be positioned...

I'm glad to get rid of that area that never quite filled in with grass since last summer...

In this picture, you can just see part of the outline of the pool...and the marking to the fence line...I'm glad we have a big yard!

Here are all the border stakes up and ready...

...to form the completed inner border. This is the "water line."

And just enough space to fit in a digger!

How long to you want to bet it is going to be before those trees are trimmed back so you don't get leaves in the pool?

Does this really matter? Who reads this anyway? Seriously. Okay, fine. I'm probably the only Poli-pino you'll ever meet and I: like to cook up a good meal (but if given the choice I'd rather eat out); watch TV and films from here and there; love to laugh and try to do it often; hate to cry but end up doing so...and often; believe we ALL make a difference to SOMEONE at SOME POINT; love long walks on the beach, it's cheesy, I know, but I do love them especially with my family; wish I was as erudite as Stephen Fry, as cleverly comedic as (too many to name here) and as oblivious as Mr. Bean. Obviously I could go on...that's why I started the blog!
