Did I Tell You??

We also celebrated the hubster's birthday recently, too. He really hates acknowledging the passage of time and its usually difficult for me to find suitable gifts since he a) has everything he wants or b) buys those few things I didn't know he didn't already have and/or wanted.

The weekend before his birthday, which was also the first weekend that his folks were over from the UK, we went out to dinner downtown. We never hardly ever go downtown, so it's like a whole new world to me. I actually get my glam on (which translates to putting on clothes other than a t-shirt and shorts, applying some make-up and even wearing a bit of jewelry)!
(BTW, the date on the photo is in the little endian style, so as to confuse Americans. Isn't it nice to add little random tidbits of information for which no one asked?) Moving on.... Our cheeky monkey came home from college to have a real meal join in the festivities.

This year the Beatles were on my side and offered some really fun things for a fan like the hubster in the form of Beatles Rock Band, new guitars for said Rock Band and the Remastered Albums. He's having to wait for the albums since they're on back order, but it's not like he's never heard them before.

Happy Birthday, Honey!

Does this really matter? Who reads this anyway? Seriously. Okay, fine. I'm probably the only Poli-pino you'll ever meet and I: like to cook up a good meal (but if given the choice I'd rather eat out); watch TV and films from here and there; love to laugh and try to do it often; hate to cry but end up doing so...and often; believe we ALL make a difference to SOMEONE at SOME POINT; love long walks on the beach, it's cheesy, I know, but I do love them especially with my family; wish I was as erudite as Stephen Fry, as cleverly comedic as (too many to name here) and as oblivious as Mr. Bean. Obviously I could go on...that's why I started the blog!
