Dedicated to the Vice Chancellor of Sunshine

Ok, so...we all can see how crap I've been at blogging lately. I know, I know. Anyway, taking on the challenge that Britta set before me, I'm stealing her blog from yesterday and adding my answers. I was going to be cute and leave her answers in yellow, but I wanted to add to the internet wave you're surfing and encourage you to check HER blog for her answers...as well as her other goings on of late. So without further ado...or technical difficulties that caused me to do this today rather than YESTERDAY like originally planned....

Inside the Actor's Studio

These 10 questions originally came from a French series, "Bouillon de Culture" hosted by Bernard Pivot. They're better known as the questions that James Lipton asks every guest at the end of "Inside the Actor's Studio" show.

What is your favorite word? Hmmm...since Tanya has apparently "stolen" what was my favorite word, I'm looking for another one. However, my favorite phrase of the moment is "What in the kumbaya is that?!?!"

What is your least favorite word? Luckily, it's a curse word I don't hear very often, the "c" word. But every once in a while it slips out usually in a British show or when certain sports spectators are not happy with particular happenings within the game(s) they are watching.

What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally? More often than not it's when I come across something that makes me stop and think,"Do I do/think/act/etc. that way?" whether in a serious or silly way.

What turns you off? Consistent inconsideration/selfishness and/or relentless arrogance

What is your favorite curse word? This is quite the conundrum! You see, I enjoy cursing at times, usually whilst having many adult beverages the inner sailor reveals itself mightily or when I'm thoroughly pissed off I can let loose a blue streak of profanity. However, normally I try to cleverly manipulate the use of ordinary words as cursing. I get it from a college friend of mine who revealed that her father's favorite curse word was "CATORCE!" which translates to "FOURTEEN!" from Spanish. It truly is 10% WHAT you say and 90% how you say it...or however that adage goes.

What sound or noise do you love? I LOVE the sound of laughter...mostly baby laughter, but anyone who lets out the giggle from deep within. The funnier or more unique the laugh, the better...it just makes me laugh along.

What sound or noise do you hate? I hate to hear people I love doubt themselves. I know it happens, I just hope I do a good job convincing them otherwise.

What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? CSI criminologist or forensic biologist, I'd have to agree with Britta here; I always thought being a travel writer would be interesting, too, or a food critic since I love to eat!

What profession would you not like to do? Anything with snakes or venomous animals/insects

If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gate? "We thought you'd never make it, but we're glad you did!" because I KNOW God has a wicked sense of humor!

Does this really matter? Who reads this anyway? Seriously. Okay, fine. I'm probably the only Poli-pino you'll ever meet and I: like to cook up a good meal (but if given the choice I'd rather eat out); watch TV and films from here and there; love to laugh and try to do it often; hate to cry but end up doing so...and often; believe we ALL make a difference to SOMEONE at SOME POINT; love long walks on the beach, it's cheesy, I know, but I do love them especially with my family; wish I was as erudite as Stephen Fry, as cleverly comedic as (too many to name here) and as oblivious as Mr. Bean. Obviously I could go on...that's why I started the blog!
