Tag! You're It!

I had originally titled this post "I'm ONLY a Month Late!" then immediately thought better of it. I can only imagine my inbox overflowing with emails demanding explanation but also why the long-awaited information had not been sent directly to varying locales across the globe via phone or internet. Let me clear things up...I am NOT pregnant. Yet.

My fellow alum chum William tagged me a month ago (I wouldn't have believed it was that long ago, but I checked myself!!) from his blog and I'm just remembering to follow up on my promise to play.

Without further ado...

10 Years Ago I . . .
1. lived in my FIRST apartment away from home. Do you hear the Mary Tyler Moore theme tune playing...ah, the days of being a single girl working in the big city.
2. drove a burgundy Ford Taurus aka "The Pimp Mobile" because the tinted windows were at least 5 shades darker than what was legal.
3. worked for the best boss I've ever had before or since, other than myself, of course. I'm glad to call him a friend these days, and not just the guy I have to ask for a day off! ;o)
4. took a roadtrip back to Lubbock and realized that for all intents and purposes I'll always consider it my "hometown," even now that my parents are gone.
5. discovered strengths in myself I never knew I had and being a single mom wasn't so bad!

1. Laundry
2. Figure out what I'm making for the 11th Annual Thanksgiving Party. Can't wait to see y'all!
3. Finish the invitation for The Company Holiday Party and send them out!
4. Catch up on some organizing...or moving one pile of stuff to another...whatever.
5. Watch the Results Show for the DWTS semi-final.

2. Queso/Salsa and Chips
3. Cheese and crackers
4. Onion rings.
5. Chocolates...all kinds...don't hesitate to send me some new variation to try. ;o)
